show.pictures is a free tool from Sirius Ventures LLC. Most photos on the site come from public-domain and Creative Commons archives. This page covers the small amount of information we handle when you upload photos or contact us. Short version: we don’t sell your data, and we strip location from the photos you share.
| Location removed | We strip all embedded EXIF metadata — including GPS location — from the public copy of every photo you upload. |
| Camera kept | We keep the camera body and lens model (e.g. “Canon EOS R5 · RF 50mm”) to credit gear on our camera & lens pages. That’s equipment, not a person. |
| Where it lives | Uploaded images are stored on Cloudflare R2 and served from show.pictures. |
| What’s public | Your display name and any website or contact links you add to your profile are shown publicly — that’s their purpose. |
An email you send through a form or attach to your account is used only to reach you about show.pictures. We never sell it or share it for advertising. We keep standard web-server logs (IP address, browser, timestamps) briefly, for security and to keep the site running.
We don’t sell personal data. Photos on show.pictures may be reposted to our own social accounts (Bluesky, Mastodon, Instagram) with the same credit shown on the site. We rely on Cloudflare for hosting and delivery and an email provider to send and receive mail; that’s the extent of it. We set only the cookies needed to operate the site — no third-party ad tracking.
To take down a photo or delete information you’ve given us, email

with the subject [show.pictures], or use our copyright & removals form.
Include the photo’s URL or your account name and we’ll act promptly.
show.pictures isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
